What is PromptMax?
PromptMax is a no-code platform for running AI prompts on large datasets. You upload a spreadsheet, write your prompt once, choose from 14 AI models across Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, and xAI Grok, and PromptMax processes every row automatically — returning a completed spreadsheet with AI-generated results for each one.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. PromptMax is built for non-technical users. If you can write a prompt in plain English and work with spreadsheet files, you can use PromptMax.

How it works

What is a batch job?
A batch job is a single run where PromptMax applies your prompt to every row in your spreadsheet. Instead of prompting an AI manually for each item, you submit once and receive all the results back in one completed file.
What file format do I need?
A spreadsheet saved as a CSV file, with one item per row. Each row can contain a product, a keyword, a review, a URL, a piece of text — anything you want the AI to process. Maximum file size is 10 MB, up to 50,000 rows per job. Using Google Sheets? Go to File → Download → Comma-separated values (.csv). Using Excel? Go to File → Save As → CSV.
How long does a batch job take?
It depends on the size of your spreadsheet and the model you choose. Small jobs often complete in minutes; large jobs can take several hours. You will receive an email notification when your results are ready.
Which AI models are available?
PromptMax supports 14 models across four providers: Google Gemini (3.1 Pro, 3.5 Flash, 3.1 Flash Lite, 2.5 Pro, 2.5 Flash, 2.5 Flash Lite), Anthropic Claude (Opus 4.7, Sonnet 4.6, Haiku 4.5), OpenAI GPT (5.5, 5.4 mini, 5.4 nano), and xAI Grok (3, 3 mini). Each offers a different balance of quality, speed, and cost — use the model dropdown in the job form to choose.
What does the output look like?
You receive your original spreadsheet back with a new "AI responses" column added at the end — one response per row, with all your original columns preserved. You can download it from your dashboard as soon as the job completes. Your prompt controls the output format — plain text, structured data, JSON, or anything else.

Pricing & billing

How does pricing work?
PromptMax uses a pay-as-you-go credit system — no subscriptions, no monthly fees. You top up your balance and are charged only for what you use, based on the number of tokens processed. New accounts start with £5 of free credit to test with.
How much will my job cost?
Costs depend on the model you choose and the length of your prompt and data. The job form shows a live cost estimate before you submit, and you can run a free preview on your first 10 rows. PromptMax pricing is around 25% cheaper than standard API rates — the major AI providers offer batch discounts of up to 50%, and we pass most of that saving on. See the pricing table above for typical costs per 1,000 rows.
What happens if my credit balance runs out?
If your balance is insufficient when a job completes, it enters a pending state — your results are held until you top up. Once you add credits, the results are released automatically with no need to re-run the job.

Data & security

Is my data secure?
Yes. Your uploaded files and results are stored in Google Cloud Storage (UK, London region) and are only accessible to your account. To run a job, the relevant rows are sent to the AI provider you choose — Google, Anthropic, OpenAI, or xAI — solely to generate your results. We never sell your data or use it for anything beyond running your jobs. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of sub-processors.
How long is my data kept?
Your uploaded files and results are kept while your account is active, so you can re-download them whenever you need. If you request account deletion, all your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
Is PromptMax GDPR-compliant?
PromptMax is operated by Code4Ads Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 14316206). Your files are stored in Google Cloud's UK (London) region; depending on the model you select, your data may be processed by our AI sub-processors (Google, Anthropic, OpenAI, or xAI), including outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
